MPO trunk cable, a cost-effective alternative to time-consuming field termination, is designed for high-density fiber patching in data centers where need space saving and reduce cable management troubles.
Due to the MPO/MTP®-12 also supporting MPO/MTP®-8 fiber systems, it is also ideal for 8-fiber parallel multimode optical transceivers applications, such as 40G QSFP+ SR4/CSR4, 100G QSFP28 SR4 optics direct connection
OM5 fibers include additional bandwidth characterization at 953nm to support extended distances when using SWDM. OM5 fibers apply to data centers which require quick infrastructure deployment with extended reach that want to maintain bandwidth throughout the infrastructure.
